Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Vidmill is operated by Argentix LLC ("Vidmill", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Vidmill, how we use and store it, when it is shared, and the choices you have. By using Vidmill you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. The email address you sign in with, used to create and secure your account.
- Connected-platform access tokens. When you connect a YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram account, we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens that platform issues so we can act on your behalf for the actions you request.
- Content metadata. The channel descriptions you provide and metadata about the videos the service generates and schedules for you (titles, descriptions, schedule times, and status).
We do not collect payment card numbers directly; if and when billing is offered, it is handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor.
Google user data (YouTube)
When you connect a Google/YouTube account, we access your Google user data solely to upload and schedule the videos you have explicitly queued in Vidmill. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except as required to provide the service you requested (for example, sending your video to YouTube). Google tokens are stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over encrypted connections.
Vidmill's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
TikTok data
When you connect a TikTok account, we access TikTok data only to publish and schedule the videos you have queued in Vidmill, using the TikTok Content Posting API. TikTok access tokens are stored encrypted at rest, are used only to perform the actions you request, and are never sold or shared with third parties for any unrelated purpose.
Meta data (Facebook & Instagram)
When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account, we access Meta data only to publish and schedule the videos you have queued in Vidmill. Meta access tokens are stored encrypted at rest, are used only to perform the actions you request, and are never sold or shared with third parties for any unrelated purpose.
How we use your information
- To generate, schedule, and publish videos to the accounts you connect, at your direction.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information or connected-platform data. We share data only:
- with the platform you asked us to post to (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram), to carry out an action you requested;
- with infrastructure and processing providers that run the service under confidentiality obligations, strictly to operate Vidmill; and
- where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users.
Disconnecting an account & token revocation
You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from your account settings. When you disconnect an account, we delete the access and refresh tokens we hold for it and stop accessing that platform on your behalf. You may also revoke Vidmill's access directly from the platform's own security settings.
Data retention
We keep your account information and content metadata for as long as your account is active. Access tokens are deleted when you disconnect the associated platform. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and remaining tokens, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with the law. See our Data Deletion page for how to request deletion.
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest and access to them is restricted. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
